Spartan Daybed

Spartan Daybed

We have absolutely no idea what the above product has to do with Sparta, Spartans, or Sparty, but then we’re more than willing to overlook the silly name of this Spartan Daybed as it’s so damn good-looking. Hand woven from a man-made, all-season brown wicker, this huge enclosed daybed is literally made to withstand the elements, and it also includes six 18″ square accent cushions along with zippered, fade-, stain- and mildew-resistant Sunbrella covers for all its cushions. At $6000 the Spartan Daybed is an extremely comfortable alternative.

Risom Rocker Chair

Risom Rocker Chair

When somebody talks about the “rocking chair,” the picture that comes into our minds is that of a geriatric crowd outside the local Cracker Barrel, who are creepily lined up in their wooden slat rockers somewhat like a living graveyard. Thankfully, the new Risom Rocker cannot be placed anywhere in that scene. Priced at $1500 the Rocker chair is created by a legendary Danish designer Jens Risom, and sports a straightforward walnut frame with classy clean lines, a Maharam Milestone fabric upholstered, button-tufted high back and seat, and even a hidden counterweight in the front rail of the chair to ensure that smooth rocking motion.

Herman Miller Envelop Desk

Herman Miller Envelop Desk

Now this might be an interesting question - why, when you or your chair or even your computer moves throughout the day, does your desk stay right where it is and put? Herman Miller too found this question curious, and developed the all-new Envelop Desk as an answer. The ‘moving desk’ moves towards and also away from you with a smooth sliding motion and is quite able to work with any chairs but then its best when paired with the company’s Embody Chair. It also helps keep your work area real ergonomic even while you’re reclining. [Link].

Do Hit Chair

Do Hit Chair

We just love it when interior designers encourage the customers to customize their purchases, and when the level customization involves smashing the said purchase with an ‘included in package’ hammer, you know that we’re in. Designed and Created by Marijn van der Poll, the all-new Do Hit Chair is fresh concept which is in the form of a box made out of 1.25mm stainless steel, measuring 40″ x 28″ x 30″, which you’re supposedly can mold into whatever shape you prefer using the integrated long-handle and wide-head hammer. This high-end innovative piece of furniture meets stress relief, with ’smashing’ results.
