CustomPC reported yesterday on PNY’s 2GB USB Flashdrive that comes preloaded with Ghostbusters. It’s not stated what file format and compression settings are used on the film but what we do know is that it comes with DRM protection. You can download the movie to your PC or laptop but can only play it with the USB drive plugged in. The device can hold 12 hours of video play, 33 hours of music and 1,080 pictures, that’s in addition to the preloaded movie. This will probably be the beginning of a new trend for the film industry, in my opinion. It’s a cheaper more affordable technology.
