iPod Speaker System With a Detachable Remote

iPod Speaker System With LCD Remote Control

Tired of those cheap iPod docks that don’t deliver the quality and functionality that you want. Well look no more because George is here. This is the first product produced by manufacturer Chestnut Hill Sound. What does it have on the competition you ask? For starters it comes with a unique wireless remote control, which has a turning knob for navigating your iPod’s menus on its high- resolution, back-lit LCD display. When you’re done using the remote it stows easily away in the face of the speaker system. This system runs around $550 but I found it on Amazon for $499. Check out the “Buy this!” link below.

George also gets four pages of presets on the remote with no need to worry about jumping from AM to FM because the unit is bandless. I hear it has high quality sound too. The company says it “emulates the multi-amped 2.1 systems which are now used to make professional recordings” and CNET says it “delivered a weighty, full-bodied sound the belied George’s small size.”

The setup includes 5 speakers including a 4 inch down-firing subwoofer and it’s bi-amped, which is a step up from those other docks. Other features aside from the various colors is a built in USB port on the back panel allowing you to update software and adding hardware modules, such as an HD radio receiver.
